How to install floating shelves - Step by step

Here's how to install our Floating Shelves in 5 easy steps.

Whether you've purchased Kion Home shelves, nightstands, ledges, or other furniture and are ready to assemble it, or you want to install another shelf with similar features, we'll show you how. Follow the 5 steps below to assemble your shelves/furniture easily and quickly.

You can do the assembly alone, but we recommend having two people for greater efficiency and convenience.

Materials

Our packages include:

• Shelf/shelves.
• Screws.
• DuoPower wall plugs.

You will need:

• Level.
• Pencil/Marker.
• A drill and 6mm drill bit.
• Hammer (recommended).
• Phillips head screwdriver (manual/electric).

Step-by-step

1. Level

Place the shelf against a vertical surface. Place the level on the shelf's base and check that it is straight.

2. Mark and drill

Once the shelf is straight, take the pencil and mark the holes on the vertical part of the bracket. Use the drill to make holes at the previously marked spots.

4. Screw in place

Place the shelf on the wall and screw it in with a manual or electric screwdriver.

5. Decorate to your taste

Decorate your shelf or shelves with various items. We recommend combining the following:

• Books.
• CDs.
• Vinyl records.
• Vases.
• Plants.
• Candles.
• Table lamps.
• Photographs.
• Sculptures/art.
• Kitchen or bathroom items.
