The shelves are made of steel (metal), which is shaped and hand-painted with epoxy paint ( see painting process ). The finish is matte.
It's very simple. Kion Home shelves are installed in 4 easy steps. You'll only need a pencil, a drill, and a screwdriver:
- Position and mark : Place the shelf on the wall and mark the holes with a pencil.
- Drill : make the holes at the marked points.
- Screw in : Place the shelf and tighten the screws through the holes.
- Decorate it your way.
Tip : If you don't want to get dust on the floor while screwing in the shelves, stick a paper bag under the hole to catch the dust. Check out our video on how to easily install floating shelves.
Yes. The anchors included in the package (Fischer Duopower) are compatible with all building materials and can support 15 kg of weight in hollow material and 40 kg in solid material. However, we recommend checking the type of plasterboard installed in your home and determining its strength.
